How to request deletion of the personal data we hold about you

Mocombe Financial Services LLC (“Mocombe Financial,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request that we delete the personal information we hold about you — including any data we may have received when you contacted us, requested a quote, or interacted with us through Facebook, Instagram, or other connected platforms.

1. What This Covers
You may ask us to delete personal information you have shared with us or that we have collected about you, such as:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
- Quote requests, contact-form messages, and consultation notes
- Marketing and newsletter subscription details
- Any profile information (such as your name or email) we received if you contacted or messaged us through Facebook or Instagram

2. How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, simply contact us using any of the methods below. There is no charge for this request.
- Email us at Info@M-Fin.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”
- Or call us at (888) 814-6346 and tell us you would like your data deleted.
- Tell us who you are — include the name, email address, and/or phone number you used so we can locate your records and verify your identity.
- We confirm and delete — once we verify your request, we remove your personal information from our systems (subject to the legal exceptions in Section 5).
To protect your privacy, we verify every deletion request before acting on it, so that no one else can request deletion of your data.
3. Deleting Data from Facebook & Instagram
If you interacted with Mocombe Financial through Facebook or Instagram (for example, by messaging our page or engaging with our content), you can have any associated data removed in two ways:
Request deletion directly from us
Use any of the methods in Section 2 above. Let us know you contacted us through Facebook or Instagram and we will delete the related information we hold.
Remove our app’s access from your Facebook account
- Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Select Apps and Websites.
- Find Mocombe Financial in the list, select it, and click Remove.
Removing the app stops any further data sharing. To also delete data we have already received, please send us a deletion request as described above.
4. What Happens Next
- We will acknowledge your request promptly, typically within a few business days.
- We will verify your identity and locate your records.
- We will complete deletion of eligible data within 30 days, and let you know once it is done.
- If we are legally required to retain certain records (see Section 5), we will tell you what we kept and why.
5. Information We May Be Required to Keep
As a licensed insurance brokerage, we are subject to laws and regulations that require us to retain certain records for a set period. We may therefore need to keep limited information even after a deletion request, including:
- Records related to insurance policies, applications, or transactions, as required by state insurance regulators and carrier agreements
- Information necessary to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or anti-fraud obligations
- Records needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
Where the law allows, we will delete or de-identify this information once the required retention period ends. Any information we retain remains protected under our Privacy Policy.
